PreSUSY School 2011

The PreSUSY 2011 school will be held on the campus of The University of Chicago, from August 24 to August 26, 2011. Lectures will take place in the Kersten Physics Teaching Center Auditorium.

The school will be aimed at advanced graduate students, with lectures given by recognized leaders in the field. The meeting will help young scientists to interact with theoretical and experimental colleagues, and to broaden their knowledge of particle physics.

Lectures. Lectures will be given in the following areas (tentative speakers are listed, not all confirmed):

Poster session. On the second day of the conference, a poster session will be held immediately following the afternoon session. This session will provide an opportunity for young scientists to present their work and to interact on a one-to-one basic with the lecturers and other participants.

Availability of lectures. Lectures for the school will be available on the PreSUSY 2011 website.

The SUSY conferences have traditionally allowed a fluid interaction between theorists and experimentalists working in the field of high energy particle physics. The PreSUSY schools help young physicists join in such interactions and become part of the high energy physics community.
